IBA Employees Give Back to Schools this Fall

Founded in 1979, Irving Burton Associates is a woman-owned professional and technical services firm providing expert program management and advanced technology solutions to government and commercial clients. IBA delivers program management and technical solutions to over 40 program offices in the federal sector including the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Department of the Interior.

In their 3^rd biennial Back to School Book Drive supporting First Book, IBA employees raised an astounding $22,185.00 to bring brand new books to underprivileged children in IBA communities.  From August 11^th to September 15^th, IBA employees from all over the country generously contributed $7395.00 to First Book through an online donation page.  The funds raised by IBA employees were then matched by IBA Corporate as well as IBA President and CEO, Anna Ryan.

Since IBA began its partnership with First Book in 2006, the enthusiasm and support of IBA employees has helped more than 3,000 students by providing over 17,500 books to children in need. This summer the firm built on this benchmark and surpassed the total contributions from years past.  The funds generated will provide thousands of critical reading materials and educational resources to local schools in IBA’s four main office locations of Falls Church, VA; Frederick, MD; Denver, CO; and Huntsville, AL.
