If You Give a Child a Book …

We are big fans of Laura Numeroff and Felicia Bond’s “If You Give …” series. You know them. “If you give a mouse a cookie, he’s going to ask for a glass of milk,” and “If you give a moose a muffin, he’ll want some jam to go with it,” and many more. (If you don’t know them, you’re missing out, as they are delightful.)

Laura and Felicia have just published a new book in the series, “If You Give a Dog a Donut”, and our friends and Barnes & Noble and HarperCollins are celebrating by donating two brand-new books to kids in need, through First Book, for every copy of “If You Give a Dog a Donut” sold at Barnes & Noble stores or on their website. Oh, and this generous offer also applies to all the books in the “If You Give …” series.

The program will run through the month of October, and we’re hoping that many, many people decide to pick up their copy of “If You Give a Dog a Donut”, or any of the other titles in this great series, at Barnes & Noble. Check out their site for more details.
