> Blog > Leaping Into New Reads In July, we partnered with Leacock Foundation to provide two fantastic Reading Celebrations with their “LEAP Into Literacy” Summer Camp.
HELAINE BECKER AT WOBURN PUBLIC SCHOOL
The first Reading Celebration was held on July 19 with author Helaine Becker. Volunteers from TD Bank Group and CompuCom joined us at the Leacock Foundation’s “LEAP Into Literacy” Summer Camp at Woburn Public School. Helaine showed the kids how to do bird calls, then volunteers and kids spent time reading together. Each participant received brand new books to take home for their home library.

On July 23, we held a Reading Celebration at the Rose Avenue LEAP into Literacy Summer Camp which is held each year at Branksome Hall with author Kevin Sylvester and volunteers from RBC Wealth Management. The morning was filled with exercises in reading and illustrating, as well as time spent reading together. This event was generously supported by RBC Wealth Management.
