> Blog > Sit on our Bench- Contest! As part of a partnership with the Archewell Foundation and Penguin Random House Canada, First Book Canada is holding a giveaway contest to win one carton of Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex’s new book, ‘The Bench’.
The giveaway will be held from October 25th at 9 a.m. EST to November 8th at 9 a.m. EST.
We will be giving away 21 cartons (24 copies of ‘The Bench’ in each) to First Book Canada educators who send in pictures, videos or letters inviting Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex to sit on their school bench with them.
How To Enter
Show us! – Send pictures or videos inviting The Duchess of Sussex to sit on the bench with your class. Images, videos, drawings, and letters all encouraged.
Limit of 1 entry per class.
The class must be between Kindergarten to Grade 2.
Only registered First Book Canada members can enter the contest.
Fill out our contest form and send pictures, videos, or letters with your students inviting Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex to come and sit on their school bench with them.
OR
Send pictures, videos, or letters from your students to canada@firstbook.org inviting Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex to come and sit on their school bench with them.
You may only enter the contest once. Multiple posts will not be considered multiple entries. The winners of the giveaway will be contacted On Friday, November 12th
NOTE: First Book Canada has the right to share any pictures posted as an entry to this giveaway. Please make sure any children making an appearance in pictures or video are allowed to be shared.
Prizes
- 21 respondents will be randomly chosen to each receive one (1) carton of 24 books of Megan, The Duchess of Sussex’s new book ‘The Bench’
- Winners will be randomly selected.
- Winners MUST be comfortable sharing their address with FBC in order to receive the gift basket.
- Canada only.
The contest will run from Monday, October 25th at 9:00 a.m. to Monday, November 8th at 9:00 a.m. EST. Winners will be contacted on Friday, November 12th and have until 8:00p.m. that day to accept their prize.
