First Book Canada named to 2023 Top Impact Charities list by Charity Intelligence Canada 

Toronto, ON (November 13, 2023). Today, First Book Canada/Le Premier Livre Canada has been named to 3 Charity Intelligence Canada lists for 2023. The organization was named a Charity Intelligence (Ci)’s Top 10 Impact Charities of 2023, Top 10 Canadian Impact Charities of 2023, and Top 10 Impact: Canadian Youth Charities of 2023.  

Charity Intelligence analysts review publicly available information for over 800 charities. This includes their financial statements, annual reports, CRA T3010 filings, and websites. Each charity is consistently rated given the standards set in our rating methodology. The 2023 Top 10 Impact Charities cover frontline charities providing social services in Canada, such as food, education, and addiction recovery, as well as international programs bringing evidence-based programs to developing countries, like clean water, health and education programs. All of the listed charities produce high impact per dollar with their programming.
